Bombinhas is one of the smallest counties in the region, it has more than 36 km² and has a fixed population of about 12 thousand inhabitants, it is located on the north coast of Santa Catarina, 70 km of distance from Florianópolis, 35 km from Balneário Camboriu and 260 km from Curitiba.

It is considered one of the best beaches in Brazil. It has more than 20 destinations, all of them with their particular geographic characteristics and a strong cultural influence of the Açorian colonization.

It is an ideal place for the practice of scuba diving. It owns the title of the Brazilian capital of Ecological Scuba Diving. Bombinhas, the main and most famous beach, is distinguished by its tranquility, its crystal waters and the white powder sand.

Other beaches to stand-out are: Bombas, Mariscal, Tainha, Conceição, Sepultura, Zimbros, Canto Grande e Ribeiro.

How to get there

By car
By the BR – 101, access to SC 412 Road, passing through Porto Belo county. From BR 101 up to Bombinhas there are only 14 km passing through beautiful places and having a fantastic view of the sea driving down Bombas Hill.

By bus
The main bus companies have permanent services that allow traveling to Bombinhas. Pluma, Itapemirim and Catarinense have connections with big centers of the south and south east of the country. From Itapema Bus Station there are many bus lines daily.

By plane
Florianópolis Airport and Navegantes Airport are 70 and 60 km of distance from Bombinhas. They have regular flights from São Paulo, Poto Alegre and Curitiba and of course other connections to different national and international centers.

Bombinhas is located near big commercial centers, such as: Brusque, Blumenau e Balneário Camboriú. Either by car or by tourist tours it is possible to visit all these places in one day and buy products at a low price.
